Hiho,

I pretty much liked the new incremental save from LW 8. Does their exist a plugin or script for XSI?? No big drama to do a 'save as' and change the name to *_vxxx but it always hinders my workflow...

You most certainly mean 'autosave'. That's not what I mean. I prefer to save when I want it or it fits me, but with increment.

Thanks Chrischan, got it, funny it has to reload the scene after saving. Maybe I'll give it a try to change it in JScript to make it more LW style. Funny isn't it how one is fixed on getting working habbits from one soft to the other? :)

By default, XSI keeps the last 4 versions of your scene in the Backups folder in the project. You can change the amount on the same preference page as you found Autosave.

It's good to be aware of this too because your project folder can get big pretty fast with all those extra scene copies incase you're burning to Cd or moving the project around.
