View Full Version : afterburn clouds flickering.
BiGMaCHiNe 08-27-2004, 10:49 PM hey im using afterburn to create clouds in max. Im really happy with how they look in still, just gorgeous. However, in animation they flicker..alot? Im new to max ( maya user, temporarily converted just for afterburn ) do i need to adjust some setting to reduce flickering and what would it be. I dont mind if it adds ages on to the rendering. Its rendering each frame in about 20 seconds atm so im not that concerned.

Are you using a pcloud for your emitter? How many particles are you using? In the AB settings what is your step size set at? You may have it at too high of value, try like 1.0.
