New user as you see! :)
High quality and inspirational work in here :)
I am a new user to 3dmax, have been using it for about 1 week now. Trial version :(
Well hopefully will get the student version if its the same as the proper one.
I am using it to design some furniture and products. I am using Nurbs as my method of
modelling. But the problem i am having is rendering. I read the help files on mental ray etc but
what i want to achieve is something like what "guestavobenites and munky" have done with their interiors. From the modelling aspect i know that to achieve something like that i need
the enviroment ie: room, window, product,. But when i render the scene it looks crap. I need to achieve realism from the renders to show the actual product. The tutorials on the help files are
good to follow yet understanding wise its not good imp. If someone could help me or guide me on this area from their own experiences I would be grateful. If nots its ok.
shorten my learning curve is the aim!
Thanx in advance
