It's a valuable thing to mention in what country your company is. I happen to know it's a Swedish company though ;-)
So any luck so far? Are you looking for MAX users aswell ??

Hi,
Well, its true we are in Sweden/Uppsala. And it is unfortunately true too that I haven’t found the right animator yet. So why do I look for a “Maya Only” animator? Hmm…. actually if you are a kick ass devil of an animator, with a amazing animation and acting skill it would not matter to me if you work with Max, we would simply train you up. But unfortunately most of the animators applying for the job are not so good. Because we did already our share of teaching here I would like to see the next group of animators getting directly into the production flow.
Cheers
Eckhardt

Keep on looking, I will apply for a job at Starbreeze as soon as I feel like i'm ready for it. I live in Lulea, that's waaay up you know ;-)
Take care / Torbjorn

hi there....
i applied online before a week ago and i got a reply mentioning an animatation test to work on....i am about to finish the animation test and i will be sending it to you very shortly......today again i saw this post of yours in cgtalk and i found you require only europian citizens??? is it true??/cuz in your first post it was not mentioned........anyway, i'll send the test you have asked me to do.....and will look forward if you can compromise with the citizen thing.....i am ready to relocate and will try my best to get a work authorisation if you are accepting me.......
thank you

I am sorry about the confusion, please send your test to me and I will give you some feed back.
The reason I asked at one time about “EU only” was that I had a very hard time getting the papers ready for a guy from Ukraine and it was a pure nightmare getting him into Sweden. I hoped with the next animator I hire I would not have to go thru the paper war again. Unfortunately I didn’t get any good demos from European animators.
When I posted again I changed it back to the original state.
Today I am only looking for great Animators and don’t give a dam where they are coming from. ;-))
All the best to you
Eckhardt

hi eckhadt.....
i have finaly finished the animation test you had asked for....as i dont have a highend computer at home, i asked for a temp access to the computers at Vancouver Film School from where i have been graduated. and they gave me after hours access.....thats why it took more time to finish it.....here's the time description in which i finished the test...
software used : Maya
modeling and rigging: 4hours
animation : 8 hours
rendering : 2 hours.
i am looking forward for your reply and hoping for the best......other than the animation test, do take a look at my other work.....will appriciate it......
