This is the main character from one non-profit game project.
The character has 1666 polygons & was created in LightWave 7.5 during evenings at army :buttrock:

Textures are nice, the hat could use some more polys, it distracts from the rest.

Nice model (except the hat) and nice texturing.
Yeah, I could afford to add some more polys to the hat.

you certainly could... low poly no longer means sub-2000... most low-poly stuff can be as heavy as 3000 with today's graphics cards and engines. so add some more polys into the hat, and perhaps the hands, and you've got a real winner.
Allright, I'll make the hat / hands a bit more complex. Thanks for the crits..

Ive been telling juzz that for ages now in our mod team.. we can use more polygons! :)

I like my UV textures well named & clean looking. No one will never notice the black borders or anything during the gameplay, but I feel a lot better when the texture is done with care to the very end.
You just gotta love Photoshop 7.
