CGTalk - To run Maya...

Hello.
I'm wondering what kind of system you need to run MAYA 4 (or 3)
, Processor, MHZ, RAM, and so on...

I've got a P III 800 - 256 MB RAM. Is it Enough?

Hi

I would probably buy more RAM... at least 512MB...If you are planning to do more complex scenes you should think of buying a faster processor (the fastest you can afford) and maybe even a GB of RAM, I am running Maya 4 on win2k pro and after a clean boot the OS takes over 100MB! I checked the task manager and Maya takes another 90MB at startup... as you can see you are already pretty close to your 256MB mark... anyway get ready to take looong walks while waiting for your renderings!
