you'll never get occlusion without shotting rays... occlusion in 'scanline' it's queer.
better say max default renderer.. :).. thanks for this... but take care you're also using light tracer... that's not really the default max renderer..:hmm:

Yeah, I use Lightracer for ambient occlusion. It says that in my tutoiral.

Is there a tutorial for a typical lighting senario in VRay? I see people rendering the most basic, textureless objects and they still come out amazing.
