View Full Version : Is there a shortcut?
peakyfreak80 08-26-2004, 02:42 PM Does anybody know a keyboard shortcut to get to the next level of a modifier stack?
e.g. I have a Editable Poly with a UVW mapping modifier on top. Whenever I click on the object I want to be able to get to the sub-object level of the poly without having to mouse click on it.

well, I wrote a simple script that kind of do what you want.
It doesn't go to the next level in the modifier stack, it works on the baseobject.
I've posted it as a attachment in the following thread.

Just set up a keyboard shortcut for the Epoly Subobject Toggle. It will also toggle subobject level off if you're already in a subobject level.

I haven't had much experience with MaxScripts, so excuse my ignorance. After I run the MaxScript what is supposed to happen? Is there a toolbar, keyboard shortcut? I'm a little confused.

in case you missed it, I answered the question in the script thread mentioned above.

Sorry about that. Skimmed too quickly.
Thanks again.
