View Full Version : any DirtyNUTS plugin equivalence?
ywmang 08-06-2002, 08:45 AM I came across a handy plugin called DirtyNUTS for Cinema4D on the web.
It automatically adds dirts in crevices and corners that make stuff more realistic.
Is there any Max plugin out there that have similar functions?
thx!!

Quickdirt and DirtyReyes are two that I know of, but they're both commercial plugs.
The cheapest way is to paint dirt into your textures, it's the most effective and controllable way too :)
[edit] there is also a free plugin called TrueGrit

A few time ago, I took a look around the net searching the equivalent for Dirty Nuts (free: better), and I didnt get anyone.
Maybe is better paint directly over your map.
Bye.

There's a maxscript called pits n peaks which also shades your vertex colours depending on the topology.
