Welcome to the cgtalk sketch group.

We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

These are the rules:
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* 640 x 480 / 480 x 640 OR 800 x 600 /600 x 800
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.

Good luck

-Roberto

Wow, very nice lightning on that devil, and great style...

Since I didnt want to miss out on this one I decided to post my sketch before Im too late, even though Ill prolly colour and shade it after (Its a sketch thread after all ;))...My id was of a girl desperetaly in need of money for a good cause (like going to college, helping parents), travelling with some package to another country and getting caught..The road to hell can start with good intentions...Im planning to join in on more daily sketches in the future and to all who've participated in the past ones, great work..I enjoyed watching your pics alot...
Done In Open Canvas and Painter 8, approx 30mins.

Opencanvas (I see a trend going on here)/Wacom/20 Minutes.

Since it's bedtime, no colors as of yet. I might fill it in tomorrow if I find some time. It think some colors would work well with this one. I like the stuff done in opencanvas here. Seems like people like it a lot. I like it, though Im still figuring out most of the interface.

For those interested in opencanvas, they might wanna check this thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=164700) out.

Hi, first time I participate in a Daily Sketch. I've been watching it daily, and wanted to post something too, but a bit to busy. So here I was at the home of my girlfriend and started drawing.
I hope I can participate more often from now on, at home where I have a Wacom.

Nice entries!

Hope you like mine!

One question: I did only draw one golden pole and copied that one a couple of times, is that legal, since it's not really sketched?

He Got me To shoot A Deer.
He Was More Proud Of Me That Moment, Then He Was When I Graduated College.
He Said "Boy, You'll Be Mine Still" And Then We Realized The Deer Was Still Moving,
So He Gave Me an Axe... His Stair Was Straight Through me...
Like I Didn't Exist, Only A Younger Version Of Him.
At That Moment My Choice Was Black & Black...
So I Put The Axe To Him.
I Swear, It Was With Good Intent.

Rasdasa, that's awesome. Great short story that gives you a very disturbing feeling (because I guess most of us has felt that way sometime or another) and the image just captures it perfectly. Hats off to you! Great work.
