i wanna make one, how do i do it?
i am using lw.
anybody know how to get decent reflections in lw?
i am making an effort to learn lighting and all that jazz.
the "full precision renderer and me" didnt help me to much.
it's just a quadric room with colored walls
and a area light under the ceiling and maybe a sphere
or small boxes as furniture (wow!)
i think it's not good for learning anything about lightning

Hmm well in LW... just make a box in modeler... then hit "f" to flip the normals. -- Then bring it into LW... and put your camera in the box.... oh yea... you'll need to put a light in the box to make it not so dark. :) - What you do from there is up to you.....
Relections in LW are great..... dunno what to say... they seem to reflect everything around them. :) If you want blurry reflections take a look at the environment tab in the surface editor.

Why not ask how they did it in that thread? :) It looks like a skylight and one key light. I believe he said that he used an HDRI for the skylight, or so I would assume.

Theory is the same and most of the stuff is in lw though. :)
