Is it just me or has Blender become so big, that it needs to move out from sharing space with Wings3d and have its own forum? Speak your opinion and vote.

Isn't it a little biased to ask that question inside a Blender Forum?

About the poll, I would vote "I'm neutral."

I voted yes, simply because the growth is such that it's unavoidable. I don't think that I absolutely needs to be right now though, but soon enough.

I voted "no" for a simple reason. Blender is big enough for its own forum, but I don't think wings is.

I vote yes just so I wouldn't have to keep clicking on the Wings forum to read new posts, when all there is, is new blender posts. GRRRR!!!

Hehe, it could be the Wings/default Blender camera mode thing.

It looks like the deed is done.

Have Fun!

What is wrong with elysiun.com forums (http://www.elysiun.com/forum/index.php) ? I think it's OK there.

this is my first post, i have used elysiun since i first got into blender, and i see no problem with it, in fact, if your just into blender, elysiun is the best place to go, a lot of people use it, and it's almost completely blender dedicated

Definetely yes. Why should be otherwise?

If both titles are going to stay under the same 'umbrella' - then it'd be good (imo) to have more regular checking / moving of incorrectly located posts to the correct destination.

If it's a time problem - I'm sure there'd be plenty of Wingers offering their services - to help keep the Wings forum 'unpolluted' :)

Why "hide" the blender forum?
you could for exampe get a menu when you click on the blender /wing3d forum.

Blender 3D
Wings 3D

and not jumps in wings at first.

I think it is a joke that there is now a top-level forum for syflex(which is just an expensive cloth plug-in), but not for blender.

syphilix? what? :p who cares what other programs (or plug-ins)get?

Nvidia (hope you know what that means in spanish) is only good in form of a graphic-card

there is a blender forum on CGTalk  , but as usual we dont get there straight away, but with a (blender) habitual workaround (one more click) ;)

In the next few weeks we are doing a mass reorganisation of forums so please bear with us.

I've put Blender 3D out into its own top-level forum so it's not a sub-category.
