awesome!!! i see you changed her a little bit (from the original) - now she looks even better than the real Romy.
btw - not sure how popular Romy Schneider was outside europe - so: this is Romy Schneider.
08-24-2004, 12:24 PM
Great work on the eyes.

08-24-2004, 06:29 PM

08-24-2004, 06:41 PM
The next Scarlett O'Hara! Good job.
08-24-2004, 06:44 PM
cool. looks like an almost perfect copy of a neighbour/friend i had in canada.
Really great, you've captured the era's style beautifully. I think a parasol would have completed the look tho. Like I said really great.
08-24-2004, 07:04 PM
cool. looks like an almost perfect copy of a neighbour/friend i had in canada.
phone number and address please?
08-24-2004, 07:07 PM
I normally dislike 3d that looks 2d, but this is really good. My only crit is that her eyes seem kind of sharp compared with the soft look of the rest of her face/body.
08-24-2004, 07:10 PM
ONE OF ITS KIND!!
very original concept...
really like it.
can we see the pre-photoshop render please?
my GOD!!! thats is powerrfull!! amazing dude!!! you have the skills!!
08-24-2004, 07:19 PM
I really like it. Correct me if im wrong but there is a cartoon with an Austrian princess called Sissi.....she looks like your model alot....is it her?
08-24-2004, 07:34 PM
Well done!! It have that wonderful classical style. I love it. I also like the texture wery much...it makes it more like 2d. Or is it because you did it in ps?
Anyway it is a realy greate picture. Keep it up!
08-24-2004, 07:51 PM
I like the paint over standing at the railing best, but they are all Really nice.
08-24-2004, 08:29 PM
Any nude ones ? (Ok, shouldn't 've said that)
Wow !! The lighting, and the colors. It's all there in the classic Sissi style
08-24-2004, 08:55 PM
Very nice render, although the sideburns on the first image look a bit odd, too rough in my opinion
08-24-2004, 09:47 PM
great model, anbeliveble texture !!!
08-24-2004, 10:30 PM
:applause: There is nothing I can say that hasn't been already said........Awesome, your work inspires me to work hard. The look you have represented here is really nice.
08-24-2004, 11:00 PM
I love the style, did you paint over the top of the images afterwards to get that soft-focused, "painterly" look?
I also like the way the eyes don't really have pupils, but are more perl like in a way..
08-24-2004, 11:37 PM
Nice job .hope u next amazing work *_*
08-24-2004, 11:39 PM
nice job .hope u next amazing work .
just WOW, great work.
If you could please, more info about your work on the skin shaders, any color work you did in PS. nice wire also , thanks.
I don't think this is painted over very much as the hair still looks to much the same.
How you did the hair. It works great for most things. But this is such a wonderfull piece I would humbly suggest using a hair plug-in or up-ing the detail on the geo pieces its mapped too.
08-25-2004, 12:26 AM
wowwwww!! very nice! it's a lovely.
08-25-2004, 12:40 AM
Looks great. I love the painted style.
My only critique, is in the first one, I think her face looks much smoother then her chest. Maybe it's just me, but I found it a bit distracting.
Second pose is great, nothing to say their.
08-25-2004, 04:29 AM
great work :applause: i like it 支持你！
08-25-2004, 05:50 AM

The painting look is realy outstanding
08-25-2004, 12:16 PM
Your Sissi is Atomic !
08-25-2004, 02:40 PM
Sissi is so beautiful!! Very nice work, I've never posted anything about a picture before but she is stunning. I have only one thing though I love the second pose but in the first pose her hair that's to short to go into the rest of her "updo" looks more like uhm...side burns or like she died her hair but didn't rinse it out well and it's running down the side of her head. I know what it's like to have little annoying hairs like that suggestion would be to make them in that photo a little more like wings so they stick out or something?...just a suggestion...She is very pretty though :applause:
08-25-2004, 03:27 PM
Beautiful! The hair looks very nice, though you might want to do a little postwork on, it e.g. where different parts meet each other (like the bottom of the "poofy" things on top of her head in the third picture), and I agree that in the first picture she seems to have a long sideburn. It's beautiful though and I especially like her eyes. :)
08-25-2004, 05:11 PM
how was the hair created if you don't mind me asking...
08-25-2004, 08:02 PM
Really like the painted look. http://cgtalk.com/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
08-31-2004, 06:27 AM
This looks SOOOOO good. Very well done ! Even though the edges of the nose are a bit square, it's the eyes, wow !
08-31-2004, 09:42 AM
yes ,i think the mandible is some mistake:sad:
09-01-2004, 05:49 AM

09-09-2004, 07:19 PM
beautiful girl man,can I marry her? :)
09-12-2004, 08:42 AM
I always like it when CG Art crosses the boundary of being mostly "CG" and becomes more "Art", and that's exactly your case. Very nice positive feeling, you've managed to capture beauty.
Any refence/inspiration did u use to get that?
Congrats on the CG Choice, u deserve it ;)
09-15-2004, 09:28 AM

You done a great model, she has very cute face and nice render.
God Bless You
09-28-2004, 08:54 AM
If I didn't see the name of the painting I would still say its Sissi, and its not just her signature hair (which gave her headaches, in both how long it took to make and real headaches because its not the most comfortable of hairstyles) but her expressions and posture all indicate that this is the Empress of Austria. I think this image is what she probably would have looked like when she was visiting her family in Bavaria, in those instances when she came out of her depressions temporarily during her visits to her birthplace. Anyone who is interested should read about her life, which is quite a tragedy. She was a free spirit who was destroyed by a bad marriage and horrible in-laws. She was assassinated by an anarchist not so far from where I live in Geneva, Switzerland.
10-18-2004, 04:47 PM
Oh my God! I love it!! :bounce:
I would never have thought i would ever get to see a 3d work of the greatest empress Austria had ever had in it`s history.
Sure, it`s Romy Schneider herself playing Sissi, (the real one looked a little bit different) but nevertheless her beauty and appearance are simply stunning.
I mean you see it written all over her face that this is a truly divine blue-blooded empress.
Great job on that! :applause:
10-18-2004, 05:54 PM
Beautiful! Very, “Gone with the Wind” look.
I have one critique: Her hair seems a bit too texture-ish and plastic. Maybe add some finer hair stands.
01-14-2005, 05:47 PM
so elegant... nice work, needs a bit more realism
02-28-2005, 04:36 PM
Love this one
It looks like Romy Schneider
and it exactly meets the charm of fifties technicolor :buttrock:
03-17-2005, 09:04 PM
i love the lighting. she is very classy. the hair looks painted a little, though.
06-17-2005, 01:42 PM
techart, habar nu ai de nimic. fata a murit de mult. a fost imparateasa Austriei...HAHAHAHHAHAA!
TECHART, You ignorant ! The girl died long ago, she ruled Austria.
