On last project i had BAD experience using ROUNDER tht ships with lw8
It RUINE uv mapping and is completly useless for that kind of things where i need my uv map to stay in place....

Has that ever happened to anyone else?

I don't understand how Rounder would ruin a UV map, especially since UVs are generally created after all the modeling is done. Rounder is a great tool, but it does have its limitations. I use JettoBevel for about 85% of my beveling needs and it often works on polys that Rounder chokes on. If you're looking for a way to add microbevels, you could consider KZMentory, which will allow you to add a single bevel to an entire object. In my tests, for the types of things you'd want a microbevel on, Mentory works just as well (if not better) than Rounder. You could also bypass the actual geometry creation process and use an edge beveling shader like TB's Edge Bevel Shader:

The shader approach works fairly well if all you need to do is make a moderately modeled object look better.
Hope that helps,
Steve

Edge FX is another bevel shader. It's not free though. :)

Anyone ever use Rhino, that had a command called fillet, I loved that little comand, esp with splines and real NURBS. What it did was took two lines and put a circle inbetween them of user defined radius, so the lines intersected the circle tangentally, Then the lines up to where they intersected the circle were joined with the intersected portion of the circle to form a smooth rounded edge. Made things beautifully smooth, the first model I ever made was a fairly complex lamp without a single sharp edge. I can't imagine it would be that hard to implement on LW, what would be really cool would be to allow for any parametric function, so not just circles. I use spheres for this all the time, but it would be nice to have this automated. I like the looks of what splinegod posted, though slightly different than what I'm getting at.

Theres a few tools for doing fillets and chamfers. Rounder and Jetto bevel were mentioned but Pictrix also has several tools for such things. :)

how about client ask update on project i already done? would i tell him Oh no no we can;t talk on same price i need to remodel with rounded edges and than apply uv maps ? or should i just apply WORKIN ROUNDER plugin that will not destroy my UV map on top of already finished and textured model?
