Alrigthy then nice start.
Some things you should think ore about i think.
The way you did you image you kinda went for the comic book liook ? Where you can see the ink lines, but it's of course colored and shaded ?
Anyways your ink line seems a big big, and it has no variance in the line thickness. Always remember to vary you line thickness to get a good lineweight ;) Take a look at inked comic books, and you will see what i mean. Normally the outline of a character is a strong line, and then depending on where the line is they range from very thin to thich lines ;)
SEcondly you shading is off... You should start with some major block ins, like making an arm seem round ect. Always pick a major light source when shading, and then after thats done you can pick a secondary light if needed. Remember where your light is comming from and how that will affect your subject.
Right now you got some semi-detailed shading going on with some big lineart, which kinda contradicts each other i think.
So i would say make the lines thinner, and vary them in thickness to make them look more alive, and think about your lightsource when shading.
:D :D Hope i helped :D :D
BTW: i think you could loose the lineart on this one, and keep working with only the shading and by shading and colors make your image look more real. :D :D
Give us more work :D :D
