View Full Version : moving effects to other layer
plastic 08-22-2004, 09:20 PM hi,
anyone knows if it's possible to move an effects tree from one layer to another?
or, can i use multiple footage sequences in a single layer?
i have a few different shots and need to apply the same effects to all sequences.
it's a hassle to do it manually.
thanks,
marc

You can use CTRL-C and CTRL-V for copiing or cutting effects from the Effectsdialog. Good luck with it!
BTW: I donīt know if itīs possible to copy animated data to a different source... Last time I tried I faled :(

If you want to apply the same effects to several sequences at once you can move all the sequences to the new composition (it's called precomposing - ctrl+shift+c) and then apply the effects to the resulting composition. For some effects it is not the best solution, but you should try it.
