Really nice painting. The only thing that bothers me is the position of her right arm. It looks like you used a reference of a woman who was maybe sitting or leaning that arm against something or was resting on the arm of a chair. I don't think the position looks natural in this context. Also, the alligator looks like he's painted in a slightly different style than the woman.
Besides that, it looks great!

How did you get those clouds to blend like that in photoshop?

I can only get that effect in painter, very impressive.

Great job with the colors, the lighting is cool too. My only question is, would she have two ribcages? awesome picture.

Fantastic!!
:applause:

My only crit would be the alligator.
For some reason it seems pasted on... Maybe it's the color and direction of the lighting? You have a predominantly brown color pallete on the rest of the picture but the alligator is done in purples. I think he would also be in shadow like horse side of the fabulous female figure.

Really cool - I agree with the alligator critiques, though.

Always had that question with "centaurs" and how many ribcages they would have... I always imagined a fairly complicated skeleton.. lol

Really nice! About that arm position, I cant see anything wrong there, not at all!! It looks like she sort of tries to lift her self up a bit from the ground (and then naturally the alligator), and makes perfect sense to me! Think the alligator might look better if it was placed same direction as the kentaur, making it look like it comes sneaking up from behind?

Wonderful feel to the environment. I have to agree with the "croc" crits. Other than that, nice piece! -j

it's lovely how the fog or smoke in the background doesn't share the same detail of the focus-element being the female centauri (dno if they have a seperate name).. comes out very nice.
