Another Release 8 MOCCA thing.

It took longest to composite them together :-)

how long did it take to:

1. setup?
2. animate?

Also, did you have to key each bone or did you set up sliders that allowed for moving all at once?

Setup was about 5 minutes, but only because there's no documentation (we're writing it ;-)) I could set it up in a few seconds now I've done it once.

Keyframing the animation was done in realtime, so literally 5 seconds.

The bones were linked, I set how much interia should be sent down the chain, how much gravity (ie. how much the tail droops) then that was it. That example was using the new MOCCA tools directly, If I spent a bit more time adding an expression perhaps then I could get the end of the tail to whip right round. Alternatively I could have used the new sliders and pose library to set up a left and right pose then tweek the morph sliders as needed.

Can't wait till you guys have a good figure to show us :D

Those animmations on your site, one showing a timelapse of a character bone/skinning would nice to see.
