Hi everyone...

Mainly my problem consists in those ugly dark and light blotches that appear when I turn to smooth shade all visual mode in the perspective view. How do I correct those blotches? Is there any way to turn them polys into flat shade mode, but defenitly? I was working in flat shade mode, so i didnt know about this problem until i turned it to smooth shade all. The following pic is with the Flat Shade visual mode on.

thanks in advance!

could be due to soft/hard edges, try make the edges hard

When you encounter normal issues like that you might need to do several things. First go into your viewport Shading menu and select Display Dackface culling on. That way if you have normals reversed some faces will "disappear". If that is the case you just need to go into Edit Polygons>Normals>Conform to clean them up. If they all point the wrong way after Conforming just Reverse them. The other thing that I have seen cause similar visual infidelity is when you point too close together. I would advise Merging vertices at a very low tolerance and see if that doesn't change things. Once that is done just Set Normals to Face and then Average them, again with a very small distance tolerance, like .001 or similar. You could also Set Normal/Softness Hardness, if you want to keep some edges hard or soft. Hope that helps,
