Looks like fan art to me. The source is foxforums (http://www.foxforums.com/index.php?showtopic=118) and I have no idea if it has an actual affiliation to 20th Century FOX, but there seems to be nothing official about them.

I have that poster. So it's real.
As for the 'new' one, that I doubt is real.
Remember that these flicks went through name changes and stuff was printed early, the same goes for action figures too, you can find starwars figures on incorrect cards.

Yeah, I remember my buddy scoring a "Revenge of the Jedi" movie poster before they changed the title. I wonder how much it's worth now...

I remember reading somewhere that some guy had a couple of "Revenge of the Jedi" tshirts from before the time Lucas decided to change eppisode 6's name to "Return of the Jedi". The guy who still had them said that the shirts put his kids through college.

Yeah, I still have a couple of star wars figures that I got just before ROTJ came out, the packaging said Revenge of the Jedi on them. pretty cool now to lok back on them.

Drew Strutzen has been doing the Star Wars Posters from the begining and this is not his artwork...so inconclusion ... :rolleyes:

If I remember correctly those are real pieces, but arent going to be the thatrical psoters. They were created for a licensees meeting with Fox or somethnig like that. The actual movie posters are probably months away before we see them.

Serenity is a movie based on the shortlived show Firefly

Be sure to watch it in theaters april 22, it will probably be one of the best movies of 2005 and I think it will top star wars..

Special effects are done by Zoic Studios who won an emmy award for their work on firefly

Not sure but I think that was originally a shot of Hayden for promotion purposes as well. I think it might have been doctored to look like a plausible poster. I would expect the first official poster to be in the same style as the other Drew Struzan ones. Though this could be alternate posters or character banners like those used in the other movies. It shoudln't be long till the poster and first trailer are unveiled.

From what I see the posters aren't real posters....

The last "retro" one, Vader emerging from fog is the rear cover of an old photobook from Star Wars Ep IV, dated somewhere in 1980's (perhaps I am mistaken and it was a book of Empire, but I do have it somewhere)

The one with vader standing amongst a storm of flames is from an old comic I have seen a couple of times at a friends' place, unfortunatly I can't remember the title nor check/verify it since I lost contact with that friend...but I'm sure its not a "new" poster for the upcoming movies...

The first poster looks a bit like the dvd cover for the 4th disk, in itself nice but I would more stick it to an upcoming Ep 3 comic then the actual movie, style is too "cartoonish"

The only teaser/promo poster I can believe being such is the Revenge of the Sith one, the rest are just fraudulent fakes :)
