View Full Version : spline modeling cars
ace4016 08-20-2004, 06:10 PM Hi, I am fairly enw to 3dsmax and undertsand the basics and more. Spline modeling doesnt seem so hard on human heads and Ive seen some tutorials for modeling cars using spline modeling but none of them go in-depth for a beginner like me. I think modeling a car from bluepirtn images is perfect but extremely difficult for me, does anyone know any in-depth spline modeling tutorials for cars or a better way to model a car?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Poly modelling cars seems to be the hot ticket these days. But it just depends on the person and which way works best for them.
At any rate, be sure to look at the "tutorials and tips" sub-section up top and you'll find plenty of links to tutorials (for cars and just about everything else under the sun)

Hey, you can try with this tutorial :

It's pretty complete and it's spline based.
Hope that helps.
