Last week I have made this sketch while sitting on a beach in France, about 10 km south of Le Treport (Normandie, France).

About 2 hours, paper and pencil.

As a suggestion, though, I think you could use a counterbalance to the shore line, I feel a bit emptiness both in the sky and on the lower left side... mauybe some more subtile details?
