Hello,

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen/used "MaxScript 101" tutorials by John Wainwright(?) the guy who created MaxScript?

I'm new to MaxScript, but I'm comfortable with MEL. So I'm looking for something to help me get up to speed on MaxScript specific, rather than general scripting guidelines. Mostly I was just curious if it's worth the $95. Is the conent detailed or is all pretty basic stuff (how does a for loop work, etc..).

thanks

i saw this tut and i could say that's basic stuff. no expert knowledge, but the price is very fair. Your loop question will be replyed

FETTMOPS,

Thanks, I did decide to go ahead and get it. I also posted on the discreet maxScript forum and the general concenses there was much like what you have said, that though the material was mostly basic foundational stuff, it was well presented and worth the money simply because of the source.

Though I was using the "what is a for loop" question as an example of the "basic stuff" I was less interested in. Borislav "Bobo" Petrov suggested in a reply that I keep my eyes open as there are more uses and loop variations in the language that I might expect... I guess that's what I'll do:)

thanks again,

-marc
