View Full Version : LW network render+messiah??

Hi,guys. I am working on my graduation project recently and I've got 15 computers so that I can execute network render in LW.There is one character in my animaiton made in Messiah. But It seems that messiah plugin doesn`t support LW's network rendering.

Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? I really need your help.

Since the plugin "messiahLW.p" is not supposed to be put in LW directory, this file couldn't be found when I use LW network render.

Just make sure that the other machines are mapped the same as your workstation, so the LW config can find messiah. So if your LW config says that messiahLW.p is in c:\Program Files\pmG\messiah make sure the render nodes also have it there. Alternatively, put messiah on a shared drive, re-add the plug-in to LW, and make sure the other machines are mapped (with the same drive letter) to that shared drive. For example, x:\pmG\messiah.

Do I have to install messiah in each computer? or just create the same directory with same name and just put a single file (messiahLW.p) in it?

Copy the whole folder (except the Content, and you can delete the docs folder on the render machines). It's only about 25 megs.
