allenatl 08-19-2004, 01:04 PM Finally got around to adding a body to the Dark Angel model. Hair and clothes not final. Anatomy needs some tweaking. Welcome comments about overall look of the body.

Thanks, vonbon. Yeah, it's based on the Dark Angel TV series with Jessica Alba.

It looks good but something is wrong with the shoulders.
Or am I wrong.

Yeah, you're right, superlayer. That's been my main trouble spot with rigging, mainly the underarm area when the arms are completely lowered. I've got tons of info and tips from this forum and elsewhere, but I'm still struggling with it. I'll get there though.
That's why I posted here, to see what jumps out as odd-looking. Thanks for the response.

I think the line under the breasts is too hard/sharp. There is rarely a line that defined there unless it involves armor of some kind, and from what i remember from the show, she just wore a spandex like oufit. The same goes for the nipples, lower ribcage area, and bellybutton. You just wouldnt see them in that much detail through clothing.
Otherwise I think the proportions look pretty good and I like the outfit.

Thanks, Solid Snake.
YankyBJeans, thanks for the critique. I'm working on the clothes, adding stuff gradually. The first few images were basically just slightly darker polygons used as a poor excuse for clothes. Here's a small update with a few wrinkles added. I'll continue adding more detail.
Probably need to work on some morph maps or something for the shoulders, too.
