Hello!

I finally got my 3D web site up, so I thought this might be a good time to introduce myself...

I am a new Cinema 4D user (and actually quite new in this whole 3D graphics/animation area). I have been interested in computer graphics for a long time, but more from the programming point of view (being a programmer by profession). I have only used C4D for a few months now, and am still learning the ins and outs of it.

I have no plans to become a professional graphics artist, I am just hoping to make this my new hobby. Anyways, here is a link to my new 3D web page:
http://www.co.jyu.fi/~ap/3D.html.

If you have the time to visit my pages and have anything to comment on, please do so! I am working on a rather ambitious animation project and will update my pages whenever I have something new done. At the moment the pages are rather empty, I only have a couple of test animation clips there.

Thanks for reading this! I am sure I will be having many stupid questions to ask you from now on as I try to progress in this new hobby of mine, I hope you will not mind!

Hi Pate,

welcome to c4d and this forum. All questions are welcome and none of them will be stupid. Only our answers will be ;)

Maybe you are also interested in getting familiar with COFFEE or even C++ for Cinema (as you are already programmer I guess you should know basics :) ) then check out the SDKs on www.plugincafe.com if you have questions concerning COFFEE feel free to ask too.

Have fun in here!
