the first scetch is agreat expressive speed-scetch. when you added colors lots of details went missing. If youre in photoshop try changing the blending option of the layer of colors to "color" or something else.. restore the original detals! :thumbsup:

I think that's a fantastic sketch! Why not adjust the contrast on your sketch so the lines are black, and overlay it on the colors? Or color UNDER the sketch with a MULTIPLY layer. Basically what Kaffo said :)
