This is looking pretty good, the tubular shape of the limbs and the right angles in which they are posed does give it a rather basic form at the moment though I think, perhaps simply a more dynamic pose would help out in this respect. Also the environment isn't helping out too much at the moment. Good detail in the base model though that should be quite easy to build on.

The lighting you have used makes the model difficult to read. Could you post viewport screens and wireframes so that we can make better crits?

From what I can see though the model looks mostly ok. Something seems to be wrong with the claws but like I say, its hard to tell.

i try and make the arms and legs so the aren't as strait and ill post some clays in a sec.

ok heres an update
added some details and did some simple textures
also changed the stance and the head is a little differant.

The modelling, texturing, posing, etc. all look FANTASTIC!
I love that thing!
What program are you using?
Supremely nice job on that texturing. :)

ya im using max4.2
i may add some rust to the texture
i need a better lighting setup and a good back ground.

i may add some buildings in the background just to give an idea of the size.
maybe some hills and a little forest or something
