looks good, i love pixelart.
i dont understand why you havenīt dithered the sky a bit. the 4 values have too much contrast. the blue sky looks better cause the steps are softer......
the planks look clean and boring. the background looks more interesting and detailed than the foreground. you have pixeled some variations only on the edges of the planks.
make noise all over them or better a grain and try to lie over a gradient becoming more dark to the bottom. you can even achieve this effect with only one darker color by making a nice dithering.
hope its some kind of usefull....

Hi MfTituS,
Yah, the only reason for me not to add those noise and details, is the Lazybug! I was bitten by it and decided that's it...
Thanks for the antidote...now I am back with the "improved" version :-)
Hehehe...thanks for pointing the weak spots out!
Cheers.

yeah, thats definite better and goes more into pixelart than before.
before it made not much sense. pixeling is making with small resolution and limited palette a detailed picture or make the audience believe that there are details, where cant be on the basis of the small resolution. so you have to give every pixel a meaning. but in your first work you had many boring clean areas...
but now its fine and you can go to bed satisfied :)
