There We are finally recovered my connection here are the wire frames. All done in max, no plugins used. MAX 4 used.

it hard to comment. not that it a bad model it looks like you got a good start. but you might apply one solid colour and deselect the objects so that we can see the model a bit better, even smooth is good to study it.
