View Full Version : bevelling
chrleon 08-04-2002, 02:51 PM hi folks
any good tips on getting perfect beveling on an object, similar to filleting a cube, after modification of polygons?
I'm aware of the bevel command, but the output is not rounded enough for me.
Any tips would be great!

I always use an inner extrude then raise the polygons.

Hey.
Thanks for the tips guys. The smooth shift function was the best!
Tried to experiment with it, but those setting was gold!

This method can become a little bit of a problem if you only want to chamfer a certain section of a realy colmplex object, but typicaly with careful polygon selection, and a few pointtweaks and a weld or two it should work in almost any situation :) Maybe I should do some images tonight and add this to the tips and tricks.
