how can i change measurments in maya ?

Uh... The default unit for measuring linear values in Maya is centimeters, so you should be already using cm as your working units unless you're using someone else's settings.

To change your measurement units, open the preferences window, and then select "settings" It should say "centimeters" under "Linear"
