Hoe to make this cool text effect

hmm. looks like something you could do with Adobe After Effects. or discreet combustion or similar..

You import your logo made in illustrator and then you play around with blur, glow, contrast, curves maybe. make a few layers and animate those. it's more expierience and knowing how to work various basic tools then it is a simple trick you can make a tutorial about i think..

a few external glow plugins might make it simpler. maybe trapcode shine.. things like that...

Here's how I'd do that. In DF, so your mileage may wary:

1. Import the logo. Already preprocessed in Photoshop to get proper alpha channel.
2. Add loads of directional blur to get those streaks. Comp the original "sharp" image over the blurred one.
3. Soft Glow.
4. Heavy use of Blur.
5. Color correction.
6. Animate everything from the amount of blur, the length of streaks to the brightness and gain. Several animated mattes to give uneven look to the appliance of the effects.
7. Camera shake with the amount of effect controlled by curves.

Like said, just some shaking and baking with the basic tools. No plugins required, really, as there wasn't any pseudo-3D effects there that would require those (or some creative tweaking, like getting fancy with animated directional blur).
