Title: Scene - Speeding
Name: P. Andras
Country: Hungary
Software: Lightwave 3d

Hi there,

My main concept was to make a human vehicle, for this I've tried to create an aerodynamic body and a scene that just looks like a car ad...

Some technical details:
-modelled in lightwave (box modelling)
-rendered, DOF with Fprime
-hair made with sasquatch
-glow added with photoshop

here's a wire:

and the scene:

C&C are welcome

Hehe, cool concept. I like the lighting. Perhaps you should fit him with some bumpers to prevent gunk from shooting up his nose when speeding.

Very very original! So how does the head vehicle work? Does it inhale air from the nose and blow it out of the ears? :D

thanks guys.
some responses:
-this is the final render, and scene. I'm not gonna animate it, I think an animation wouldn't add any extra thoughts. maybe I will make a sunny scene once, from a different angle.
-originally it works like a vacum cleaner.
-it took me about 2 weeks from model to final render (I've made a head model long time ago, and I've edited that)

Nice work! I really love the light and render.

The idea is hilarious too, but I didn't get the same thoughts as you did when I saw this pic:

When I saw the two lines running in front of his nose I immidiately though
you ment speeding, as in doing the drug amphetamine.
He's inhaling the speed through his nose, wich makes his head go faster and faster and faster.
Would be funny to do a drug-version of the same pic. Just replace the road-line
with two lines of crushed powder and you got yourself a parody of your first :)

well. this pic is about the drug. i didn't want to tell it, cause someone may find it improper. maybe i'm paranoid but i didn't want any conflict. but i'm glad that someone has found out. also, i think that's something that should only be noticed by everyone on his own. and i'm really suprised, that no one has mentioned it earlier. for me it's quite obvious (not as if i were a drug user, but the two lines under his nose and the title SPEEDing makes it easy to associate). and the concept i'm writing in the start of the thread, is also true, just lacking the whole story.

I suddenly felt a stroke of ingeniousness ...
Must be something I ate.... http://www.cgtalk.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Now I love the concept even more!

Been looking thru the Choice Galleries for hours...

This one is fantastic, and hilarious! Reminds me of something the great illustrator Guy Billout could come up with.

Nice work.

Reminds me of Joe Satriani, glasses, shaved head and everything. He should use it for his next album cover.
