Hi,

Yes I know there are at least 50 threads on tablets, I've gone thru most of them.

I really need to get a tablet soon (I was going to use the ones at my school...but someone cut the wires of the computers I think...dunno how or why). I bid on a Graphire3 6x8 yesterday but someone outbid me at the very last second at $107. I've read in some of the threads that an Intuos is much smoother than the Graphire? Otherwise the Graphire seems perfectly fine to me.

I am looking for doing detailed, high rez 2d work that probably will be printed out. Is the Graphire good enough for this?

OK, my big question is:
Is there a big difference between Intuos and Intuos 2??
b/w Graphire, Graphire2, and Graphire3?
anyone ever bought tablets or other computer stuff on ebay? do you think it's trustworthy?

There seem to be a lot of Intuos1's going round on ebay for much cheaper, so I was just wondering. After much whining, my mom (yes I am still 17 lol) semi-agreed to buy me a completely new Intuos 2, but then she gave me the whole guilt trip. Urghh.

PS. And if anyone is selling a tablet, I'll buy from you!!! I am going for 6x8, shipped to the US.

These are questions id like to know too. But judging from the specs of Graphire and Intuos, im not sure if the extra 512 sensitivity is worth the extra cash. Well unless you draw with grace and precision then the extra sensitivy feature will help. But in most cases i reckon 512 should be more than enough. Although dont quote me on it, its just what i reckon lookin at the spec sheet.

I hear it also has tilt (altho I'm not sure I'd use this function) and extra pen nibs.

Again, I'm mostly looking to see if there's a difference between Intuos 1 and Intuos 2.
