Title: Scorpigator Rider Poster
Name: Ziv Qual
Country: Israel
Software: 3d Studio Max, Brazil, Photoshop

once again i have been inspired by the lotr series and blizzard's artwork so i just felt like i have to do something with it.
i'v made this image to print a poster out of it to put in my room.
all things in the scene were box/poly modeled. most of the textures are mostly procedural. the scorpigator's color texture is actually 3000x2500 (i'v learned its kind of too big for my comp to handel while doing this).
i originally planned to put him in a full scene facing another character but that might have to wait now that i got a new job.
plz tell me what you think of him.

here is also a little animated camera view (in bink format) - http://artofgaming.net/temp/scorpigator.exe

I like how you detailed the scars and blood red complexions around the mouth of the gator.

One thing I'm not fond of about the gator is its overly shiny head accesory. Kind of throws off that fantastic texture the gator has.

i think if you made the tail tip a slightly different color it would stand out and look more dangerous

but great job
