View Full Version : Help! Messiah Stopped working!

Trying not to panic!

Messiah is suddenly starting up to a solid black screen. Nothing is visible. I spent about two hours in Digital Fusion, then came back to Messiah to play, and nothing. Three reboots have not solved the problem!

System Specs:

Dual Xeon 2.4 ghz
XP professional
2 gigs Ram
DirectX 9.0b
Nvidia 5900 Ultra

I've checked the dongle, and its lit and working. I'm not getting any messages. Right-clicking on the black screen gives me the context menu drop downs, but thats all I get.

Someone.. anyone??

Try changing the size of the window and then maximizing again. It is a known thing with other apps that run maximized over the Messiah window.

Snap, Marvin! That did it.. Thanks! WHEW!!! This plus missing polys..Hmmm.. something afoot with Messiah's OpenGL implementation methinks...

Thanks again, back to playing..
