View Full Version : gradient question
TheShaddix 08-14-2004, 03:26 AM I want to make a shader to change its color from bluish to white. Is there a way to do this so that itll look like this ?

a good starting point is to connect an incidence node to the input of a gradient mixer, connect that to the diffuse of your shader and then go on playing.
dielectric and math nodes can get you there, together with environment reflections on a very blurry map.

Connect incidence node to 2D gradient shader input, change input in gradient to scalar, change incidence node mode to camera/lights/90-degrees shading. Play with other parameters of incidence.
Gradient output -> diffuse
