Hi there!
I'd like to make a cool eye for my little friend in the attachment. U can see, I've made a aperture diaphragm that I can open and close. In there you only see a grey plane. Now I would like to make a red glowing eye for the spider. U can see my current version on the second picture. But I'm not satisfied. I placed a Sphere in there and gave it a red anisotropic shader with a glow of 0.8. But I would prefer to make a real light in there and some fog around the spider, so that there would be a cone visible, but the cone should scale, as I open or close the aperture diaphragm. So just useing a lightcone fog would be difficult. I would prefer having real fog. Like in this sequence:
http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/tutorials/fog_density/blasted_wall_a.html
But I dont know how to use these fogs, and at learning-maya.com I didn't really know what to search for.
Do u know any good fog tutorials or could you explain in short words yourself, what I have to do?
Thanks a lot for your help,
