Hi!

I've been playing with Foundation 30-day trial for couple of days and I'm surprised how easy it was to adopt with 3ds max background.

I have a question tho, concerning expressions. With Constraints there is Compensation Mode, but is there anything similar to expressions?

yes and no.
expressions by their nature make it incredibly easier to write in the offset in first place, and if you want it animated all you need to do is create a set of custom parameters and insert those in the expression.

the alternative for those who find even simple additions numbing is to set the expression on a null, then constrain the position/direction/orientation/pose/whatever of the target object to that null and use the constraints' offsets.

Ok, thanks! I'll try that

dont know if it works in foundation trial, but works in v4.
