Following AnotherHell's comments about being upgraded to Essentials and a brief conversation with him, I contacted my reseller to ask what the situation was. Approximately 1 minute 30 seconds later (the guy must have been waiting for my e-mail :) ) I got this reply :
Mark you are one of the lucky ones...
all customers who had purchased a new seat of XSI in Q2 and Q3 (April to
now) should be upgraded from Foundation Windows to Essentials Windows v4.0.
Attached was a shiny new licence key :love:
Does customer care get much better ? :D
Obviously this doesn't apply to purchases of Foundation after the new price drop was anounced.
