CGTalk - sculpture help

Hi everyone, i was wondering whether you could help me on this.

I am wanting to create 3d sculptures, just like the ones you see in the making of pixar films, but of my own characters.
The type of clay i am looking for is a natural drying clay, not one that you have to bake or freeze to get the desired results.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Polymer clay,you don't have to bake it and it's reuseable.
