CGTalk - Getting a monitor

I'm getting a monitor this week (for my brand spankin' new Boxx :cool: ), and I'm thinking I'm going to get a 17 inch Nec LCD1760. It looks good from what I've heard, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of nasty issues with it (blow out, bad pixels, bad color, etc).

I suggest you find reviews for the panel your monitor is built on. have a quick search on the net and you will find that different branded LCD are built on the same panel. This will probably give you lots of info regarding how the LCD you want to buy will perform.
