View Full Version : Stopping MR render in Terminal / OSX?
Does anyone know if there is a command that will stop a mental ray rendering when using the terminal, I have checked the mannuals but can't find anything. There have been a few occasions where the rendering just won't stop, even when running Maya & using the cancel batch render menu. :argh:
Cheers

I don't know specifically for Mac OS X and Mental Ray but typically you would use Control-C to signal a program run from the command line to stop. That should do the trick.

That's right Ctrl-C does the trick. Also use Ctrl-Z to suspend your render. To start again either type 'fg 1' or 'bg 1'.
