looks good, but the chest is too high. Her hand should be smaller too.
:surprised

I like the character design but I think that it could use a lot less polys. The textures are kinda flat too.

She doesn't seem to be using all the 5000 polys very efficiently... You should be able to cram more modeled details in there. Got a wireframe?

I really like her head. but I think the rest of her is a bit bland.
the textures are blurry at places - like her belt area - it could use a bigger chunk of the texture map.
also, there seems to be a slight balance problem. it looks like she's leaning back and not holding her own weight.
All in all I think its a promising start. :D

Thanx you all for the comments...
behzad: Yeah My friend told me the same problem about her breast...but never paid attention to this detail. I think I will check this out.
urgaffel: Yeah you are probably right...I've seen better characters under the 3000 triangles...
First of all, I put many polygons in the hands that got 500 triangles each...Most of the character I've seen don't have full modelled fingers....I just wanted to make a high res version of my hand in case we would use close ups and I was thinking of making lighter hands for normal game shots. Same for the mouth...she has jaw and a tongue in the mouth that cost many polygons that could be trashed for the in game model...

Don't worry, I put some time thinking about the details and their importance level on this character...
I'll hold your comments for the my next character! Thanx!
looks good but you could definetely cut out alot from the shoes a ton from the hands and a few from the face. The shoes and hands need the most work. You can get away with a lot more with good texturing.

Yeah, you can definantly cut a lot of the wireframe down in almost all the locations and still keep the resolution you want.
What app are you using?
