Hi, I just finished an image with a mid res character I made in my free times...

Comments are welcome!

She doesn't seem to be using all the 5000 polys very efficiently... You should be able to cram more modeled details in there. Got a wireframe?

Yeah you are probably right...I've seen better characters under the 3000 triangles...

First of all, I put many polygons in the hands that got 500 triangles each...Most of the character I've seen don't have full modelled fingers....I just wanted to make a high res version of my hand in case we would use close ups and I was thinking of making lighter hands for normal game shots. Same for the mouth...she has jaw and a tongue in the mouth that cost many polygons that could be trashed for the in game model...

Don't worry, I put some time thinking about the details and their importance level on this character...

I'll hold your comments for the my next character! Thanx!

that's a good point about the hands, once you model out all ten fingers it's quite a surprise when you check the poly count again. But for close-up animations like you said, they're absolutely crucial
