Well thanks Connan, we will run threads by you before we post them to see if you care or not. You know so we don't waste your time. Jerky.

If you don't care why did you take the time to post?

96 is long life. I'm tempted to say I hope I make it that long, but on the other hand, do I really want to be alive at that age? I can see it now: "I depend on depends"

Hmmm...I always fancied Fay Wray in Kong. She was hot stuff back in her day! And I can tell you this for nothing - SHE COULD SCREAM THE HOUSE DOWN!!! :applause:

Still, she was getting on, though - 96!

God bless you, Fay!

I'm sure Peter will pay respects in the credits for her, in interviews Peter shows obvious appreciation to the casts performances, and her scream was amazing, borderline annoying, maybe, but I'm glad the media has been so interested.

Connan was just doing that get a reaction from people even though CLEARLY he is a douche bag.

I am also sure that Fay would have liked to see Peter Jacksons movie too.

maybe Mr. Jackson will use her scream in tribute to the late Ms Wray

rumor says that we will be able to live to 120 in our age. though the quality of life goes down as we age:eek: . wont it be cool if we can still surf when we are in our 90s? hehehe

If we are told of the passing of Jerry Goldsmith, then I'm sure Fay Wray is also worth mentioning.

She is one of the most famous Actresses to ever grace the big screen. The original Kong was more than just the "Jurassic Park of it's day" - it took film making into almost completely unknown frontiers of the imagination. Fay was part of that fantastic vision. Without Kong - Ray Harryhausen may never have took up Stopmotion photography, Phil Tippet may never have been inspired by "The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad"...to hell with it - Jurassic Park may never have been made due to "no technique is currently capable of this!". We may(!) not have had the 3D animation scene until much later!

She was a vital part of that film. After all, is it not also refered to as "Beauty & the Beast"? It takes two to tango - Fay is pretty much as famous as Kong himself.

I think news of her passing is quite worthy of these boards.
