Here is a Jedi I have designed. His name is Master Jedi Labo'n - Ky Roug. Enjoy.

He will have a fully painted and designed background, but that will take a while to make.

This was done in Photo Shop 7, and without a WaCom Tablet, that is right, all done with mouse :( I used Photo Shop 7's great dynamic brushes for the texture in the cloth.

very well done for just ps7 and no wacom. You got talent ;)

one major thing wrong with it though. If hes a padawan (just if, you never said) he's missing the signifying hair piece. This is something all padawan's have, you cant dismiss it. It's a braid coming down

And the really big thing, his tunic is much too small for a jedi. They always have huge sleeves, a long black cloak, and the bottom half hits the ground. If you would want to make it better, I would do those 2 things.

Ok, I did mis type it, It should have read, Jedi Master, not Master Jedi, he was not meant to be a Padawon. That was my fault for not clairifying. I have done my homework well on this painting, I have noticed that, the "Big Cloak" which you speak of, is not ALWAYS on, there are many times in battle (which he is in, and will be more obvious when my entire secne is done) they many times take off there cloak for mobility reasons. that is what he has done here.
Also, I have used MANY photos as referances for his costume, I believe it is nearly perfect, exept for colors, they did not turn out as I had hoped. The sleeves, as you noted, may not be as wide as they should be. But they are exeptible I think. If there is more that you notice which is wrong with the picture, feel free to point them out. Critiques are VERY welcome!:)

yes, no worries, :)

Man, doing the background scene is going to take forever without a Tablet.

The only thing that I noticed right off the bat is that the belt goes straight across and not creating any depth of a 3 dimensional body. Also there was something off with the hand. Overall it's done really nice but between the thumb and index finger there's a serious gap that's just straight, I'd add just a bit of a curve to it but that's just me. I realize that everyone has their own style to drawing and that's what makes it their own. ;)

Besides that I like it, rokkin on.
