Hi,
I am working from Learning Maya 5 Lesson 3. I have created the spot light and tried to position it as shown in the diagram. I am at Step 9 on p 67. I am not confident to go onto the next section yet since when I playback my animation the ball face is not continue lit up enough to be clearly seen. I was wondering if someone could give me an idea what some reasonable translate values (or maybe a range of what is reasonable) of the spotLight should be at this point? I have a cone angle of 60.9 and penumbra angle of 5 as suggested.
