View Full Version : Record Pivot Rotation
Pixelnoir 08-08-2004, 05:59 AM Lightwave has Record Pivot Rotation that allows you to set the orientation of objects to what you need. I've been placing bones into a character in Messiah, and when I go to animate, some are rotating on bank, others on heading, still others on bank. Is there a function that will allow me to set the pivots of these bones so I can rotate them the way I'd like in Messiah?

In Messiah this is done in setup mode. Click on the setup tab, select your bone, and rotate the bank or whatever to line bones up as necessary.
Setup mode is a life saver compared to the crap you had to do in LW.
